S.Korea's Lee to meet with advisors ahead of nuclear conference
Policymakers and scholars will meet with South Korean President Lee Myung-bak this week to advise him ahead of a global nuclear summit next year, the foreign ministry said Monday.

Those attending the meeting on Tuesday include former Indian President A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, Singapore's Emeritus Senior Minister Goh Chok Tong and Shinichi Kitaoka, a Tokyo University professor.

They are part of the 15-member "Eminent Persons Group," formed to provide Lee with policy proposals and advice prior to the Seoul Nuclear Summit, slated for March 26-27 in the South Korea's capital city.

They are also scheduled to meet with South Korean foreign minister Kim Sung-hwan, who oversees preparations for the forum, according to the ministry.
